Vintage 80s Liz Claiborne Gold Tone Chain Necklace with Faux Shells

This interesting piece is by Liz Claiborne and has the "LC" marked on the clasp. The chain is a gorgeous gold tone snake chain necklace that measures about 32" long. "Strung" on the chain are 2 sets of 4 matching beads. I think they are made of ceramic, but could be plastic. They have a little amount of weight to them. The beads are cream and gold in tone, and slightly irregularly shaped, probably to look like puka shells.They appear a bit grimy. It's very possible there was another, central bead, but I have no idea. I can't find anything else quite like this online. Overall in good condition, but grimy.
