Vintage ‘80s Lanz Navy Blue & Red Wool Checker Print Single Breasted Blazer

A lovely vintage ‘80s piece from historic Austrian fashion label Lanz, this navy blue and red checker print wool blazer features gold buttons, front pockets, notch lapels, and full lining. Pair it with a navy dress or skirt, or simply wear it with jeans. The Lanz label was founded in Salzburg in the ‘20s and became popular in the United States in the following decades, well known for its high quality fabrics and expert workmanship. Measures 17 1/2 inches underarm to underarm, 17 1/2 inches underarm to bottom hem, sleeves measure 21 1/2 inches. The size tag is a 3/4; it fits like a modern U.S. Women’s XS. Condition note (last photo) - the lining is a bit discolored in certain spots (not visible when worn). Otherwise, the jacket is in excellent pre-owned condition.
