Vintage 80s Embroidered Knit Jacket

Add a splash of vintage glamour to your wardrobe with this entrancing jacket from the 80s. Featuring an elegant mandarin collar, it's trimmed in a beautiful peach satin piping and enlivened with alluring embroidery. Crafted from a super soft and lightweight knit, this is a wonderful jacket for fall/winter/spring. There are no material tags or even a brand tag, however the knit to me feels like a blend of wool and mohair and possibly Angora rabbit hair as well. It's smooth and ultra soft with a slight fuzzy texture. The creamy color is subtle and allows the dark amber and gold metallic beadwork to truly shine. The embroidery's flora-inspired filigree motifs are magical and frame the jacket brilliantly. I love the way the allover beading becomes denser at the collar, cuffs, placket and hem as well. Speaking of the placket, it closes with hidden hook-and-eye clasps for a seamless look. Small side vents in the body can also be closed with hook-and-eye clasps for a more fitted effect. The jacket has an old-world sophistication and splendor that reminds me of Christian Dior haute couture pieces from decades ago. Wear it with fluid wool pants and heels for an evening event or night at the symphony or theater! Fully lined. There is a tiny hole in the knit about the size of a single small bead (see last picture), but it's very hard to notice. Some of the beads are also a tad loose, but otherwise this is in excellent condition. See comments for detailed size info/measurements!
