An incredible ‘80s statement piece, this vintage Contempo Casuals dark teal iridescent jacket features an oversized cut, one button closure, shawl lapels, and front pockets. The fabric is lightweight, making it a perfect winter to spring transitional piece. Contempo Casuals, founded in California by a husband and wife team in the early ‘60s, was a beloved fixture in American shopping malls for decades, offering trendy pieces to teens and young women. The brand was acquired by Wet Seal in ‘95. Measures 20 1/2 inches underarm to underarm, 18 inches underarm to bottom hem, sleeves measure 22 1/2 inches. The size tag is a Medium; because it’s an oversized cut it could also fit a Large, potentially an Extra Large.
