Pleated, amazing! Couldn't capture exact color because of lighting but the color is closer to a cherry burgundy color, (not red) very one of a kind. Love it! Underarm-underarm: 15 inches unstretched, stretches to 18 inches across Empire waist: 13.5, stretches to 16 inches Length: top of strap to hem 59 inches. Fits a modern size 8 best but dress stretch allows size 6-10.
