Vintage 70's Formal

Beautiful black velvet formal dress with white satin sleeves and collar is authentic vintage 70s. The long slightly gathered skirt is a attached to a self-cummerbund at the lined fitted bodice trimmed in pink satin and embroidered with pink rosebuds. Even though it's 50 years old it is in excellent condition: it was only worn once to be part of a homecoming royalty court (see photo) and since then has been lovingly stored and recently professionally cleaned (cleaning tag still attached). No interior tags remain to verify size and brand; however, it fits the size 6/8 mannequin perfectly. Measurements: 17" flat armpit to armpit; 14" flat waist; 44" shoulder to hem; 24" sleeve
