Questions? Leave a comment below! Lots of iridescent sequins cover this early 1960s vintage Winter White wool knit shell top creating lots of sparkle! Sleeveless with a scoop neckline that dips slightly lower at the back, the top is fully lined with cream colored silk. There is a metal zipper closure at the back of the shell with a metal hook and eye closure at the top of the zipper. The zipper is bordered on each side by rows of small iridescent glass beads that are made to resemble roping. This same bead pattern trims the neckline and the sleeve openings and is placed throughout the body of the top in an attractive scallop style. There are tassels (three strands of small glass beads with two faux pearls at the bottom of each strand) placed among the beaded scallops. More strands of glass beads and faux pearls at the bottom of the top create a beautiful fringe. The tassels and fringe really give this vintage shell lots of movement that’s reminiscent of the beadwork from the 1920s when Flappers wanted to shimmy when they danced! Made in Hong Kong, this shell is typical of the beautiful work done in the 50s and 60s by companies in that region of the world. Spectacular and glitzy!
