Adorable floral late 60’s empire waist halter maxi dress with a matching jacket for that indoor AC. No size on the tag but it measures like a Medium/large. The bust has some flexibility due to the open back.
It measures 32” around under the bust.
Fits up to 33” waist
Stretches to 22” across hips-44” total
44” from empire line to hem.
The colors are still beautiful. A light stretch polyester. No stains, holes or marks. It’s in fabulous shape.
Acquired from original owner, worn 1969-1972.

@ali_not_ah_lee I just put it on. The waist can go up to 33”. The u derby St is actually 32”. I’ll fix that above.

@ali_not_ah_lee are you long or short waisted? I am very short waisted, so there is extra room to fill for me. If you agree long waisted it may be pulled down for a flatter effect.

@ali_not_ah_lee what short or long waisted means is the measurement from your shoulder to your natural waist. Do you wear a regular dress or does a petite cut fit better? This dress has a higher back that is stretchy. The front can be buttoned up so it may not matter if you are small or large. You could also wear a halter bra to fill it out. As you can see in the one picture, the back of my bra doesn’t show (the straps were not a halter.
