1960s early 70s extra wide Kipper Tie 5" width 53" length Excellent pre-owned condition Authentic by design characteristics. Shorter length and extra wide length are consistent with kipper ties of the 1960s and 70s coupled with the abstract groovy motif in the quintessential bold colorway of that time period. Intended to be worn shorter than classic ties. The short length is not meant for a shorter person, although that would work. It was made during a time when men wore their slacks up higher on the waist. There is no material tag, but it feels and acts like beautiful ribbed silk lined with cotton fabric. Phenomenal piece.
