Vintage 60's Blue Velvet Quilt Vest with Tahriri Style Embroidery, Size M

Rare find In very good condition: the velvet shell, the embroidery and the quilt stitching are in great condition and clean. The interior off-white cotton fabric has soiling marks as shown in the photos. Very unique and a special standout vintage piece Hand embroidered in raised surface style: "This unique style uses the couching stitch method, where a thicker thread is laid on the fabric’s surface and secured with smaller stitches...Tahriri creates raised and textured designs." The quilting stitches are in an expanding geo layout on the back and the two front sides. The vest is finished with orange color edge trim and a hook/eye closure. No labels.
