Morning,
This is a super nice vintage handbag pocketbook - also known as a "Daytime Pocketbook".
My wife has this in her use/collection and it's in mint condition. The brand
is "GARAY". As to the body of this handbag, unless Garay made two different runs of it and there is a tag or stamped marking on the lining denoting "Patent Leather", it's not. It's actually made of Patent Vinyl which is a completely different material from patent leather.
