Vintage 60s 70s Syralite Deep Meadow Syracuse China Canada & US Backstamped Mugs

Pair of Syralite Syracuse China hot drink mugs in the "Deep Meadow" pattern. According to the (both dark green ink and slightly blurry) backstamps on the bottom of each mug is "Porcelaine de Syracuse du Canada LTEE" (Copyright) Syracuse China. (1959 - 1974) and the other is USA (6 8 Syralite (Reg) indicating a production date of August, 1977.) (Copyright) Syracuse China - Corporation USA. Vitrified China, they are sturdy with the glaze having no cracks or crazing. The Deep Meadow pattern from Syracuse China features stemmed purple and pink flowers with green stems and leaves. All parts of the design are outlined with a thin, black line. The mug is white, with the design printed on it. The ov Very good used vintage condition. The Canada mug has 2 small black spots on each side of the handle. Unnoticeable unless you are looking for them. Maybe a string was tied around the handle and left some ink spots (see the photos with the red background for close-ups.} May also be tong marks. On the USA mug, there is a ring of slight build up around the bottom, but I continue to gently clean it off with success (see the photos with the red background.) Certain lines of Syracuse China use a code to date products counting years since 1871 or the company's centennial year of 1971 (in place after 1975).
