Vintage 5-Arm Candelabra Silver Candle Holder HandChased Made In England Marked. There are three parts, the base that is weighted, the 2nd tier with two candle holders and the top with three candle holders. The maker’s mark is engraved underneath the base, “a standing lion, H I LTd, HAND CHASED Made in England”. The markings can be find in the “ Guide To British Sterling Hallmarks”. The base part is weighted and reacts with a magnet but the upper parts with the candelabra’s are NoT magnetized, so, they’re hand chased with sterling silver. They cleaned up easily with Brasso. The ornate design is repeated from the base all the way to the candle holders. This is a vintage antique from an estate sale and so it’s not perfect, there are some leftover candle drippings, some oxidation but it was well cared for and it is a beautiful piece. One of the candle holder top ring is missing- see last photo. Measures 11.5” tall and 10” wide. It weighs approximately 4 lbs. Check Photos thoroughly as they’re part of the descriptions.
