Vintage 50s Fred Perlberg Lace & Taffeta Full Skirt Party Prom Wedding Dress XS

This beautiful, mid-calf length 1950s' lace-over-taffeta dress by Fred Perlberg Dance Originals is a great party, prom, or wedding dress (as guest or bride). White embroidered lace over light lilac taffeta, trimmed with a matching taffeta bow at the waist. Cap sleeves; seamed waist except at the front, which forms an unbroken front panel; metal zipper. Shown with a double crinoline (not included). Skirt can accommodate a fuller one. Last photo shows dress without crinni. Photos were originally taken against a darker background; the dark areas at skirt bottom are the backdrop showing through. Priced to account for issue noted below. SIZE: Unlabeled; about a modern 2. Fit my approx. size 2 mannequin perfectly. There's no stretch to the fabric, so leave room for fit ease. The armscyes on this are high and small, not uncommon in vintage garments; can likely be deepened. Please use the garment dimensions to determine fit, not my estimate. * Bust: 34" * Waist: 25" * Hip: Full/free Bodice: Approx. 14 1/2", top of shoulder to waist Dress Length, top of shoulder to hem: 43" * Measured flat on outside and doubled unless otherwise stated. CONDITION: *Overall* excellent, but has an issue. Zipper is broken about 3 1/2" from the bottom. Actual break is about 1/2" long. The former owner solved this by tightly stitching that part of the zipper shut. In effect, this has just made the zipper shorter. Repair is secure; I don't think the zipper currently needs replacing.
