Vintage 40s/50s Betty Barclay Maroon and Cream Silk Dress

This dress has been a labor of love. I found her a a wounded bird. I had to restore her. I have taken her to my tailor and cleaners and almost for her to her original glory. They don’t make dresses like this anymore. She is dreamy. She is the softest fabric. It’s absolutely stunning. The contrast between the maroon and cream. The leaf like pattern on her is amazing. She does have some staining remaining on her. She has not been soaked or stain treated just professionally dry cleaned but the stains have reduced .
