oceanview505 @lisalazar sorry for the delay in responding. Honestly, I can’t say definitively what the fabric is since there isn’t a tag stating exact fabric content. The fabric is smooth and tightly woven, it has some body and isn’t flimsy. Googling 40’s Colony Club lingerie that references Bur-Mil (which is on the tag) say “Bur-Mil rayon” and rayon was the common fabric used during the war.
