Vintage 40s 50s wedding gown liquid satin and lace wedding dress

Amazing late 1940s to early 50s liquid satin and lace wedding gown & cropped jacket set. Where do I begin to describe this timeless beauty Liquid satin, tiny mother of pearl buttons very 40s... but that full skirt is quite 1950s. WOW!! the amount of lace the skirt has and in incredible condition is impressive. Often the lace is not as crisp or clean. All the lace is sheer & lined with the satin. I love the antebellum waist at the full skirt. It gives a more fitted waist and curve at the hips. The bodice top is fitted with a back metal zipper closure. I didn't even add an underskirt to this, you could definitely add yours to make the skirt even fuller if you wish. Dress is really beautiful condition! Well cared for and stored. Very light signs that its true vintage, a couple tiny snags, a couple tiny pale yellow spots at the waist. pretty hidden in the pleats and the lace pattern. Also the back seams coming up from the waist look to have been let out... but the skirt doesn't look altered. Its very faint...shown last pic. -- Note -- the color is a pale cream.
