Vintage 40s 50s red polkadot swing dress size Small/Medium

Vintage red cotton poplin dress with polkadot short balloon sleeves, dirndl neckline, and full swing skirt. Circa 1940s or early 50s. Metal side zipper. Self belt can be worn with or without - both ways look fantastic. No tags or labels- may have been made by a skilled seamstress. Please use provided measurements for sizing and fit. Non stretch fabric - definitely feels like cotton. In remarkable condition for its age. A few seams that could use reinforcement and a spot or two that I didn’t attempt to remove - see photos. This dress has a definite country, western, prairie vibe, with a side of The Sound of Music. The full swing skirt with polkadots under the hem are practically begging for a dance or twirl.
