True vintage 1940s or 1950s half hat. Has a paisley shape, one side is rounded and the other more pointed. The base is stiff ivory mesh with crochet (I'm not sure this is the correct term) 3D flowers overtop. Each flower has a prong-set rhinestone center. The edge of the hat is wired. This is very pretty and has bridal potential. There is one tag that says 22 M.S.C. This tag is hanging on by a thread. Flaws: The hat doesn't remember it's shape and will need to be pinned in place. If I were keeping this for myself, I would pin it on a foam mannequin head for a while. There are some breaks in the mesh, but the hat is still sturdy and wearable. Scattered rust colored stains. A few rhinestones have darkened.
