Hi! Thanks for your question. I was unable to see any size indicated on the hat or box so I taped two pieces of paper together to create a circle, placed inside the hat and marked the point of overlap at the inside head band. The resulting circumference is 20.5 inches. According to the Stetson website, this is a size XS or size 6 1/2. https://stetson.com/pages/fit-guide

What a beautiful hat!
I’m old as dirt and still wear my old Stetson hats.
My grandson loves this one but as you stated it pretty darn small size
I know my old ones have a secondary size tag that’s located under the leather sweatband just visible at the hat liners edge is a thin piece of paper glued there with the size and model number.
Would you please take a look? And tell us what it stated?

As my grandson is looking inside my other old Stetson he found the size tag in another place in this one
It’s under the leather sweatband but glued to the felt
If you would please look for it we sure would appreciate that.
We have a local hatter that says he can stretch hats

@sawinokur56 Thanks so much for reaching out and for your tip about looking inside the headband for more details! I just did and took some photos which I added to the gallery. I didn't see a size-specific tag other than an "S" for small, but there is number - 97453. Let me know if you are still interested.

Hello
My grandson is showing me your hat again.
We understand it’s a small size. Tony wears a size 7 so he is still interested in buying it and there is a local hat shop he showed them the pictures of the hat.
They said they don’t think it will simply stretch to a size 7 but they can rework the whole hat and install in new leather sweatband so it “should?” Fit him.

Of course they do not say it’s 100% certain but they are willing to work on it.
That ends up being quite an investment though.
Would you consider an off of $85 plus shipping and taxes to buy it?
We of course hope it all works out but that will be up to us after we buy it.
