Beautiful Timeless Sterling Silver the Apostles' Crucifix Jesus Christ Cross Pendant Necklace. One name given to this type of cross is the Apostles' Cross. There are four arms with three buds at the end of each, one bud for each of the twelve budding Christian apostles. The cross is a sign of consecration. For Christians, it symbolizes God's act of love and atonement in Christ's sacrifice and Jesus' victory over sin and death. Cross pendant measures 2 1/4" including the sterling silver bale, without bale cross is 1 3/4" x 1 1/8" x 1/4". Marked 925 on back of cross and inside bale. 925 Sterling snake 1mm chain is 20" long with a spring load clasp. Total weight 11.20g. Shiny clean, never worn, new condition. The cross has a very tiny light amount of pitting and possibly could use more polishing. Great detailed design with Jesus in a 3D effect. A great gift for that special someone or yourself.
