Vintage 1999 Atari 1980 Missile Command (PC CD-ROM)Win 95/98 Hasbro TESTED WORKS. The disc has a scratch. See pics. This is a copy of the 1980 Atari video game Missile Command, released in 1999 for Windows 95/98. The game involves defending cities from incoming missiles. Players use a trackball or mouse to launch counter-missiles, intercepting the enemy projectiles. This version includes classic and ultimate modes with updated graphics and sounds. Missile Command is a shoot 'em up game where the player defends cities from incoming missiles. The game was originally developed by Atari for arcades in 1980. The game's objective is to protect six cities from being destroyed by enemy missiles. The player controls three missile batteries that can fire anti-missile missiles. The game is set in Eastern Australia. Missile Command, reimagined for the 21st century, has you defending against a blitzkrieg from a war-fueled alien race with a special squadron whose specialty is knocking bombing attempts out of the sky with high-explosive high-speed missiles. With upgrades you can purchase and many cities to go to, this rendition has an end, unlike its predecessor, which is also remixed in this release. This rendition introduces bosses from the enemy fleet, who you face off against near Earth's orbit, with unique mechanisms and more focus on getting your pesky squad out of the way.
