Vintage 1990 Daniel Riccio Lion Bronze Art Thimble 1" Signed

Lion Thimble by Dan Riccio, Bronze Size 1" Thimble Like New Riccio. This is a design by 1990 Daniel Riccio. It is cast using silicon bronze, an alloy of copper and silicon. Riccio thimbles are created using the "lost wax" casting technique and have amazing detail for their small size. The Japanese have perfected this concept in the art of Netsuke carving. Riccio made the Bullfrog, Lion, and Turtle thimbles similarly. CONDITION Excellent pre-owned condition.
