Vintage (1980s or 1990s) Black Lace Skirt and Top, lined in Very Silky Gray

This top and skirt is made from delicate black lace that has scalloped edges with "eyelash" fringe. It is slinky and appears to be in good condition. Skirt has a waistband with zipper and hook and eye closures. The slip lining of the skirt hangs independently from the skirt. Top slips on - no zipper or hooks. The lining and the lace are joined at the hem of the top. I really can't tell if the lining for both pieces is silk or not. This was custom made by a good seamstress. The seams are French (enclosed) and the handstitched hem of the skirt lining is beautifully done. The straps of the top even have a snap enclosure for your bra strap! I estimate it's a size 12 Petite FAULTS: There is a minor repair that has been done on the waistband near the hook and eye closures. This has been repaired very neatly. The scallop lace under the arms is worn, as seen in the picture. This is normal wear and tear that should not show if your arms are down. On the back seam of the skirt, there is a small hole in the lining. This is about 1/8 of an inch in size and not noticeable - I had to really look for it. None of these faults are such that it would prevent me from wearing this fun outfit. Lying flat, skirt waistband measures about 15 1/4" From top of waistband to bottom of hem is about 28 1/2" Hips - 4 1/2" below waist, measures about 21" across. Top - bust is about 19" Front neckline to bottom of top is about 14 1/2" Bottom hem of top is about 22"
