This vintage desk clock is a true gem from the late 20th century. Made by Matthew Norman, a renowned brand in the clock industry, this piece boasts a beautiful brass case and a glass beveled window. The clock is powered by a quartz movement and has a unique painted marbled green front and sides.
It is perfect for any room and will add a touch of traditional style to your decor. This clock is an original piece from Switzerland and has a face marked "Matthew Norman / Quartz / Swiss". The movement was produced by Kundo of Germany and does have an alarm feature, though I have been unable to trigger the alarm. It requires an AA Battery for operation. The clock has been run for 48 hours and maintains proper time. The item weighs 3 lb 15.5 oz and has a size of 5.5 x 2.6 x 7.9 inches.Condition: Glass abrasions observed on the clear window. I was able to polish most of it out, but there is still abrasions remaining. The green painted surface does have crazing and abrasions to that finish. Item's exterior has been meticulously cleaned, but did not polish to maintain the patina'd surface. Cleaned Battery Terminals with Fiberglass brush.
