Vintage 1980s Sequined Black Jersey Cocktail Dress and Fabulous Jacket SZ 8-10

This over-the-top formal cocktail ensemble compries a black jersey knit dress and jacket loaded with black sequins and rhinestones. The long dress has a solid sequined bodice, rhinestone spaghetti straps, lettuce leaf hem, and a long side slit bordered with rhinestones. The matching jacket has fully sequined waterfall collar and lapels that meet at the bottom to close with a large rhinestone buckle. Sequins also cover the wide, dropped waistband that surrounds the bottom of the blouson jacket. All the borders of the jacket are further enhanced with a single row of bezel-set rhinestones. Although this dress is from the 1980s, the design of the jacket is reminiscent of fashion from the 1920s. Please study the photos for more details about this amazing ensemble. No designer, size or fabric labels are present. Based on the chest and hip measurements, our sizing charts indicate the dress is in the size 8-10 range. JACKET MEASUREMENTS - Shoulder width is 17.5" - Width across the back of the jacket at the underarms is 27" - Bottom of jacket - roughly the hip measurement - is 38" around - Sleeve length is 23.5" - Length is 34" down center back excluding collar. DRESS MEASUREMENTS - Chest is 36" - Waist is 36" - Hips are 37" at about 8" below waist. - Length is 45" from underarm to hem. CONDITION Excellent condition with only faint signs of any previous wear.
