The material of this purse has a satin feel. It is 7" across x 13 high including strap. It can open to 2 1'2 wide. There is a gold fringe snap top on the fron of the purse. The snap closes securly. The label inside reads Made In France Expressly for Carson Pirie Scott & Co. I purchased this beautiful purse at an auction house I haunt frequently and the purse looks like new.
