Vintage 1971 Milton Bradley Battleship #4730 America's All Time Favorite Game!

Battleship was originally a pencil-and-paper public domain game known by different names, but Milton Bradley made it into the well-known board game in 1967. The pencil and paper grids were changed to plastic grids with holes that could hold plastic pegs used to record the guesses. These are nice editions of the 2nd edition published in 1971. Game is 100% complete to red and blue cases that include ocean and target grid, ships, red and white pegs. Instructions on inside top cover. Game itself is in excellent condition but box does show wear and color fade with edge separation and a tear at one end. See photos for details. For 2 players ages 8 to adult.
