Vintage 1970’s Sears Lace-up Bodice Belted Secretary Dress with Pockets, Size 6

Do you love to show off your unique vintage style, even with your wear-to-work clothes? Then this unique belted Secretary's Dress from the 1970's is for you! This dress was featured in a 1970's Sears catalogue (see picture 2). This dress boasts a distinctive lace-up bodice on the eggshell white upper, and a stylish wide fold over collar at the neck. The skirt portion is royal purple in color, has front pleats, and two large pockets. This dress has a detachable matching purple belt with silver hardware that allows for you to cinch in the waist. The sleeves each have wide cuffs and 3 shiny decorative silver buttons. Zips up in the back and two hook and eye closures under the back collar. Tags are very faded, but material is thicker, probably polyester. This is vintage Size 14, but measures like a modern ladies Size 6 (see photos for exact measurements).
