Vintage 1970s Natural Turquoise and Silver necklace Hook Clasp

This necklace was bought at Frederick & Nelson Seattle 1970s. It's gorgeous, it's heavy and perfect with any outfit! It is my Mothers jewelry (she is still with us!), she says it always brought her good luck. Married for 50 years, ran her own successful business and had an amazing daughter - so I quite agree! Natural Turquoise Characterists: Semitranslucent to opaque, with a color that ranges from light to medium blue or greenish blue. It's often mottled and sometimes has dark splotches. It might also have veins of matrix running through it (matrix is a remnant of its surrounding rock). Throughout history, turquoise has often been associated with protection, luck, and abundance. In many cultures, it is believed that wearing turquoise can ward off negative energies and bring good fortune!
