talkaboutvtg @alibaba2314 the 40" measurement is HIPS! My guess it fits a solid modern MEDIUM- but the truest way is to compare to a dress that fits you best. Measure bust ( pit to pi and double, measure skinniest part of waist & double then WALA~ that is your measurements! thanks again! its a fantastic gunne sax, and I lowered from $199! WOW
