Vintage 70s Butte Knit Dress Cardigan Knit Set 1970s Butte Knit collegiate look is a two piece dress and cardigan work outfit set. Dress is drop waist with a pleated skirt in a red, white & black plaid design. Academic look is an A-line Silhouette. A faux white shirt is attached to a blue vest. Vest has solid vertical stripes ribbed texture throughout. Vest is v neckline with red & white stripes trimming the neckline and armholes. Trim of red and white stripes at bottom of attached vest to skirt Dragger Collar Buttons down the front of the attached white shirt Near top button is a hook and thread for extra closure. Zipper in back for closure. Length is above the knees. Matching black cardigan Two front pockets Cardigan cuffs, opening and pockets trimmed with white and red stripes. Material is 100% polyester Condition is good. Please note at waistband there is a small manufacturing defeat with blue threads at white waistband section located at the far right approximately 1 1/2 inches from side right seam (see photo). The dress originality had a belt which I don't have. There are threaded belt loops at the dress. Easily can be removed.
