Vintage 1969 Multicolor Floral & Black Maxi Skirt

This vintage split skirt is a must-have for any lover of vintage floral, ethnic, colorful, rare clothing. The exquisitely embroidered floral waist and bright print flowers make it a unique piece. The waist measures 28.5 inches flat. The waistband is 3 inches (due to the embroidery). There are two hook and eye closures. If need be, you could technically move them to adjust the size if you need to bring it in or give yourself a little more room at the waist, 1/4-1/2 inch. This skirt is lined and hemmed with lace. The last photo illustrates the beautiful lacework. The skirt has a waist to hem length of 42", and the hip size (measured 6" down from the waist) is 36.25" flat. Stitched inside are two hanging straps. Condition is like new - we are the first and only owner. The complete history of this piece is a mystery, however we do think it’s likely to be one of a kind, possibly a sample from a fashion designer.
