Vintage October 1966 issue of “Jack and Jill”. A Curtis Magazine. Special Feature: Captain Kangaroo visits Holland. Cover art by Ed Cortese depicts a cocker spaniel dog and orange tabby cat climbing on a Jack-o-lantern pumpkin. Printed in USA.
Includes vintage advertisements for: The Toy House, Mattel Barbie and Francie, and Wrigley Chewing Gun.
Condition is used. There is overall wear and creasing from age and use. There is a vertical folding crease that affects all of the pages. The front cover has some ink scribbling on the pumpkin and paper rubbing with loss of color on the pumpkin nose and mouth. There are remnants of the paper mailing label affixed to front cover. Some interior pages have creasing or small tears. Please zoom all photos for condition details.
The interior pages have not been filled out or colored in and the original paper advertising inserts are still intact. In the back of the magazine there is a pop-up paper advertisement for Wrigley Zoo which is still intact.
This magazine is illustrated with some great vintage Halloween color graphics that could be used for display, collage, paper crafts or junk journaling.
