Fabulous vintage early 1960’s candy striped cotton sundress by Simpli-Smart by Simplicity. This dress is over 50 years old and is rare unworn new-old-stock with tags! This adorable dress has a fun, flirty attitude and retro summertime vibes. Classic, flattering early 1960’s nipped waist with original belt and gathered full skirt. Breezy sleeveless v-neck bodice features 4 darling white buttons and coordinating purple trim. Constructed of unlined, lightweight cotton perfect for warm weather days. Dress closes with 2 white front buttons (other 2 buttons are decorative) and 3 snaps: 2 at waist and 1 at bodice Has original tags, matching belt, hand-sewn whipstitched hem Excellent, unworn condition. Dress was stored in a warehouse for over 40 years. So the dress would be fresh and ready-to-wear for its new owner, I gently hand-washed this garment and reattached the original paper tags as I found them when I acquired the dress.
