Vintage 1960s Sheath Dress and Matching Shrug Set Black and Golden Yellow Velvet Wallpaper Print Size 8 In excellent vintage condition. No flaws to report. No size or material tag so I am guessing this was hand-sewn. There is a paper tag on both pieces. Upon doing my research this may have been a costume for a live theatre show or opera. The material is velvet to the touch yet very stiff. Longe zipper on back of dress with a back slit. I am listing this as a size eight because that is my size and the second photo is of me modeling it with a belt to enhance the waistline. I put a belt on the mannequin for a styling suggesting but it’s not included. I will have measurements enclosed so please refer to them if seriously considering this purchase. This piece is definitely a work of 1960s fine fashion, costume piece or not! The velvet print reminds me of wallpaper you would find in a saloon or bathroom and I mean that in the best way possible!
