Vintage 1960s Polkadot Scarf Silk or other fabric unbranded

1960s vintage polkadot scarf. Has been in my family all this time. There is no tag. My mother took it off. Measures approximately 30” x 30” square. It feels like silk, but could be another material, but is silk like feeling. No stains but area shown in the center looks like a slight mis print. There are no thread pulls or holes but see pic where fabric is pulled away in some areas. I has this tied in a bow, but where I live I don’t get a chance to wear beautiful clothes.
