Vintage 1960's Nadine Chiffon Velvet Polka Dot Cocktail Dress Union Made ILGWU

Rare find! This one is special. Nadine was a fashion line that was developed in 1953 from the Bridal Originals venture that was founded in 1947 by Jake and Vincent Nania in Saint Louis, Missouri. This delicate beauty has a chiffon overlay with multi-colored velvet polka dots. The chiffon is stitched to the front lining of the dress and freely flows on the sides and the back of the dress. The chiffon has a peekaboo area at the upper area of the back with a hidden zipper and an extra hook and eye midway down the zipper to ensure that the zipper stays hidden. Fully Lined. Metal Falcon zipper closure at back. Measurements below are of the garment, not your body. Your measurements should be slightly smaller to allow a comfortable fit.
