Vintage 1960s Marcrest Swiss Alpine Chalet Oval Serving Platter 13.75 in. This is a very pretty vintage MCM serving platter from the 1960’s. Marcrest’s Swiss Alpine pattern is a classic example of Mid-Century Modern design. The pattern is pretty blue flowers, blue and green leaves arranged in a circle on a white platter with blue trim on the edge. This is a large platter. It has a nice heavy weight. It would look great in a vintage or retro kitchen. It can be used or would love ok great in a display case. Made in America. Height 1 in Length 13.75 in Width 10 in Weight 3 lbs 1 oz In very good vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks. There are light utensil marks from years of use and crazing as is common with Marcrest pieces. In my opinion this adds to the beauty of this piece by telling it’s story.
