Very well made jacket with matching skirt. Jacket has a cut in waist with an attached tailored bow. 3/4 sleeves and fully lined.
The skirt is knee length with a side zipper. Fitted A-line skirt in the 1950’s attractive cut. Skirt is also lined.
Excellent shape. You very rarely see a matching jacket and skirt from this era.

Hi can you give waist measurements for skirt and the length? Also jacket size reference to modern day sizing. Sizing was different in the 1950’s. Is this the same as a modern day 2?

Hi, it is a modern day size 2, there isn’t a size on the suit, but I am a size 2 and it fits me.
The waist is 27 (true waist, not dropped) and the skirt length is 25”. It’s a gorgeous suit. The other jacket with the mink collar also match’s the skirt. Thanks!

* bust flat measurement is 17”
* waist flat measurement is 13.5” on the jacket and the skirt
* hip flat measurement is 17”

The shoulders are difficult to measure because they are not set in sleeves. I think they are around 17” as well.
