Vintage 1950's Wool Plaid Jacket 39 Long

This is a men's size 39 long wool sports jacket by Penney's. The chest (armpit to armpit) measures 21 inches and the length (collar to bottom) is 31 inches. This is a vintage coat from the 50's in excellent condition....in fact I thought this was a recently made garment until I saw the labels. Both the "Penney's" and union label identify it as from the 1950's. I would best describe the colors as dark brown and taupe.
