That was a line of trading stamps popular until the late 1980s. They were distributed as part of a rewards program. Customers received stamps at participating stores with their purchases. They would save the stamps in booklets & then exchange them for items from the “Green Stamp Catalog” or at a redemption store. Green Stamps were commonly used to acquire items like kitchenware, linens, & toys, but there was a wide variety of items available for “purchase”, depending on the amount of stamps you had saved.
