Vintage 1950's Sharps Toffee Tin

What a great find. A vintage 1950's Sharps Toffee Tin with the picture intact and so clear and beautiful. There are minor scuffs but they don't take away from the colorful dog on the front. The bottom has scuffs with discoloration but again with age this is expected. This piece is not perfect but it is so much better than most I have seen. The lid fits the bottom but fits tighter than I would like but again, with age, wear, and whatever it was used for it is expected. You will have to work easy to take the lid off. The inside and the bottom are heavily discolored but it it from years of use for other things than candy. It has most of the original Sharps sticker on the bottom right half of the box that lists ingredients and it says Assorted Toffee. The bottom says Made in England by Edward Sharpe & Sons Ltd. of Maidstone, Kent. While it is not perfect it still has a beautiful portrait of a dog on the top. Measures about 4.25 across and about 6 inches long.and about 1.25 inches deep. Reference: K Box 2
