Vintage 1950s Ronson “Queen Anne” silver lighter

Vintage circa 1950s Ronson brand “Queen Anne” lighter. Branding stamp on underside shows some signs of wear. Not tested, works on gas. Signs of patina in the smaller crevices along the design. Ronson Queen Anne was a very popular wick lighter, especially in the United States in the 1940s and 1950s. It was named after Queen Anne of Great Britain, who reigned from 1702 to 1714. This model has was first manufactured in 1936 in Newark, New Jersey, United States, as well as in the United Kingdom. This lighter was advertised as “A gift that will last a lifetime”.
