Rare Vintage 1950s Le Creuset Signature Oval Baker - Au Gratin or Roasting Pan - Large Orange and White Baking Dish - Cast Iron - Enamel - Size 40 Beautiful cast iron and enamel roasting pan by Le Creuset. It is orange and off/white color. This large pan or platter is oval in shape, and it measures just a bit less than 17" in length ( from the outer part ) & inner approximately 15 3/4" and about 10" in width ( outer ) & 9" inner. It is about 2" deep. This is a rare piece. It's in nice vintage condition. It has the typical loss of enamel on the underside rim, and it has a bit of discoloration and minor scratches to the off/white interior. (Please see all pictures and zoom in!). This is Sold as is! Final Sale! A very nice piece, functional and collectible. The bottom is embossed with the number "40" and "Le Creuset." This was identified by the folks at Le Creuset as their Signature Oval Baker from the 1950s. It weights a bit less than 7 lb and it will be carefully packed in a large flat rate box .
