Vintage 1950's "Kiilani" by Alfred Shaheen - Rare Hawaiian Islands Design

This is an original vintage 1950s Alfred Shaheen "Kiilani" aloha shirt which is styled with an aqua background and a rare blue Hawaiian Islands design. Alfred Shaheen’s 1950's textile designs and fabrics are legendary and have become an integral part of the aloha shirt mystique. The shirt's Hawaiian motif of islands, landmarks, activities and fish are detailed and finished with gold edges by the use of a metallic dye that was first pioneered by Alfred Shaheen in the 1950s. The colors and designs on the aloha shirt are clear and vibrant and shows no signs of wear. This clean and 100% cotton shirt is in great vintage condition with the classic 4 button front, pearl "cat eye" buttons, a collar button loop, and left front pocket.
