Preowned GUC Fine, hand crafted figurine of an elderly couple This is an original Hakata Urasaki doll Made in Japan, Hakata dolls are traditional clay dolls Originally made as offerings in Buddhist temples Hakata Urasaki dolls are famous for their life-life features and great attention to details Vintage dolls from the 1950s or prior have become very collectible in the West The paint in these dolls show cracking and peeling I have not tried to clean these and they could use some TLC The umbrella is missing from the elderly man Approximately 11”x 7”x 5”
