Vintage 1950's Imperial Watch with Case
This is my dad's watch that he bought in NYC and when I was a child growing up in the 80's he wore this all the time. He kept the case with it. The case is a yellow ivory plastic with maroon velvet material. It has dirt and the velvet shows wear on some parts of the case.
The watch itself has a gold tone case in a rectangular shape. The glass over the watch face has an angular step pyramid shape. The band is embossed leather in brown with a buckle clasp at the end. The metal has verdigris on it in places and then dark tarnish on the case and buckle. Inside of the band is says Pyramid in gold writing.
The back says stainless steel.
It is in working condition. The watch has a winding stem on the case.
Watch face including casing measures .83" wide x 1.20" length
Band width is .72" at widest near watch face then tapers to .55" near buckle.
Please note that color may vary a small amount because of my lighting. If you have questions please ask and I would be happy to help! -Michelle
