Vintage 1950’s Handmade Black Licorice Stripe Full Skirt Shirtwaist Dress - S /4 Found in my mother's closet - Age and provenance unknown. My mother came from England to the USA in the 1950's. She travelled the world. I do not know if she made this dress or if it was purchased - there is no label for size, material, or care instructions. I am presuming this is a satin taffeta, polyester, or blend fabric. Vintage, Handmade, Shoulder pads, Decorative buttons; Hook & closure at waist; No belt. Appears to be in very good - excellent condition for age. It has been packed away in a trunk in her closet. There are a few areas that have a smude of some kind - I did not attempt to clean, Armpit-to-armpit = 19" / Bust = 38" Waist = 13.5" / 26" - 27" Length: Collar to hem down center back = 47" Smoke & pet free home.
