Vintage 1950s Claire Fashions Plastic Covered Embroidered Beaded Handbag Claire Fashions sold special occasion bags in the late 50s and 60s. This very unique and beautiful bag was designed for Easter, and features a linen body with embroidered & beaded detailing and a clear plastic covering to keep the purse dry on a wet spring day. Double layered top handle with kiss lock closure. Very good condition; plastic covering has some small tears on sides of bag, please see all pictures for detail.
